The Campuses of the Universidad Austral Buenos Aires
The Universidad Austral Buenos Aires has three campuses within Argentina: one in the city of Buenos Aires, one in the suburban area of Pilar, and one in the city of Rosario (Province of Santa Fe). The departments of Legal Sciences, Communication Sciences, Engineering, and Business Studies are located in Buenos Aires. The Pilar campus is the seat for the Medicine and Nursing programs, as well as the IAE. The city of Rosario also hosts Business Studies programs.
Buenos Aires provides a wide variety of options for entertainment, sightseeing, dining, and shopping, among others, enabling those who attend study abroad programs at the Universidad Austral Buenos Aires to enjoy Argentina's rich culture. The Buenos Aires campus is located near the city's historical district, where the traditions handed down from generation to generation mingle with the cosmopolitan, big city lifestyle. There are countless theaters, cinemas, art galleries, and museums, things that offer the best complement to the education imparted from the Universidad Austral Buenos Aires. The city of Pilar is only 50 kilometres away from Buenos Aires. International students who wish to stay in Buenos Aires, but commute to Piilar to attend classes, will have the best of both worlds: big city excitement and stunning sites, but also the quiet and tranquillity of the suburbs. The city of Rosario is 300 kilometres from Buenos Aires. A city with an important level of agricultural activity, it provides the perfect break from the big city's fast pace and excitement. International students have the opportunity to be in contact with the more typical Argentine traditions and customs.
