The Sports Complex also has laboratories for the study of strength physiology and ergonomics. The university’s outstanding sports teams include the Rustic Racing team, the women’s volleyball team, the basketball, and the handball team.

The main groups at the university involved in artistic production are the German Folk Dancing Troupe, Violin Chamber Group, Choir, Orchestra, and the Phoenix Theatre Group.
