To apply to the University of Evansville the following items must be received before a decision concerning your admission, scholarship, or issuance of Certificate (Form I-20) for your student visa application may be made:
• Copy of your passport (photo page).
• Official copies of all certificates, diplomas, and transcripts from secondary schools, college, or university. Copies should be translated with course descriptions.
• Accepted as Proof of English Proficiency: Official TOEFL Score Report. (Minimum scores of 61 internet-based and 500 paper-based for undergraduate studies) If not available in your country, test may be taken upon arrival. Students not taking the TOEFL test before arrival may only be granted conditional acceptance to the University. Official IELTS Score Report (Minimum score of 5.5 for undergraduate studies)
• Letter of recommendation addressing your academic and personal strengths.
copies of I-20/DS-2019, and I-94 card (if transferring from another U.S. school).
SAT or ACT exam scores - if NCAA athlete.
Educational Background
1. You must arrange for the University of Evansville to receive all official or certified copies of your academic records from each secondary school, college, university, and professional institution of learning.
2. Transcripts should list each subject studied with all grades, marks, or other verification that each individual course was completed to the satisfaction of the authorities in charge.
3. Copies of all diplomas, degrees, or other certificates received should be forwarded as well.
4. Since certificates and records filed for examination are not ordinarily returned, you should send certified Photostat copies if the documents in question cannot be easily replaced.
All records should be in English. Records in other languages must have copies of the originals attached with translations.

U.S. visa regulations require that certification of admission be based upon both academic acceptance and satisfactory evidence of funds to meet the expenses involved in the Students proposed program of study. The Form I-20 will not be issued without this documentation. Your application will not be considered until you show proof of sufficient funds. All proof of finances must be equated to American dollars.
Applicants are required to submit documentation which confirms that funding is available for one academic year of study at the University of Evansville and evidence that future funds will be available.
All official documentation must be submitted as follows:
• Shown in U.S. dollars
• For the University of Evansville and not another college or university
• Current (within 12 months of requested enrollment date)
• Written in English
Statements or letters from banks or from the persons or sponsoring organization(s) that will be providing funds for your educational and living expenses at the University of Evansville should be sent to the Office of Admission.
