The University of Wollongong in Dubai offers a selection of specialised undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the area of information technology and business. All degree programs are recognized by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and also audited by the Australian Universities Quality Agency. Their qualifications, accepted internationally, allow UOWD graduates to pursue fulfilling careers in Dubai’s expanding employment market. The university’s centre for culture and language offers English language courses for University preparation, as well as part time Arabic courses and English language teacher training. UNDERGRADUATE:
The following documents must accompany a completed 'Application for Admission':
• Original or certified copy of the secondary school records.
• A Statement or Certificate of Completion of secondary school.
• Proof of English (Note: Results from IELTS & TOEFL tests may be sent to the University directly from the IELTS or TOEFL testing centres quoting the UOWD institution code IELTS: AE109 / TOEFL: 7907).
• 4 passport-sized photographs.
• Copy of the passport (and Residence Visa, if resident in the UAE).
• Certified copy of official academic transcript showing all courses studied and grades obtained, syllabus details (including information on course content) of the courses successfully completed and an explanation of the grading system (applicable only for students seeking advanced standing).
ENGLISH REQUIREMENTS:
Academic IELTS Overall score of 5.5 with at least 5.0 in each band
Internet based TOEFL 71 with not less than 19 in Writing, 17 in Reading, 17 in Listening and 16 in Speaking
Computer based TOEFL 195 with TWE of 4
International Paper based TOEFL 525 with TWE of 4

POSTGRADUATE:
The following documents must accompany a completed 'Application for Admission':
• Original transcripts of the Bachelor degree results.
• A Certificate of Completion (if the above documents are not in English, a certified English translation is required).
• Proof of English language proficiency (results from IELTS & TOEFL tests must be sent to the University directly from the IELTS or TOEFL testing center quoting UOWD institution code (IELTS:AE109/TOEFL:7907).
• Current resume or CV.
• Letters from employers showing 2 years of work experience (for MBA applicants only).
• 2 passport-sized photographs.
• Copy of the passport (and Residence Visa, if resident in the UAE).
